2017 Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast
Our Chardonnay is all about layered acidity. Picked early, barrel fermented with mostly neutral oak, our goal was to create a Chardonnay that would stand the test of time as slowly the wine gains creaminess with bottle age. It is totally dry with lots of citrus, vanilla, nutmeg, and green apple notes. The oak is subtle as this varietal is about fruit, not oak.
